Up for sale is an original WWII German Eastern Front Medal (Winterschlacht im Osten 1941/42), commonly known as the “Ostmedaille.” The obverse features the national eagle above a swastika with a helmet and grenade design, while the reverse is marked “Winterschlacht im Osten 1941/42.”
Condition & Details:
Good overall condition with a nice original finish and clear detail. Shows very light wear consistent with age. Includes the original suspension ring and a ribbon bar. Medal presents very well and is a classic Eastern Front award. Era: World War II. Type: Eastern Front Medal (Ostmedaille).
