Up for sale is an original WWII German Luftschutz Medal (2nd Class), instituted in 1938 and awarded for service in air raid protection.
The obverse features a swastika within a wreath with the inscription “Für Verdienste im Luftschutz,” while the reverse is dated “1938.” The medal retains its original ribbon.
Condition is very good with light wear consistent with age. The ribbon shows minor fraying but displays well.
A solid original example of this increasingly collectible award.
