Up for sale is an original WWII German SA (Sturmabteilung) dagger, produced by Wilh. Halbach, Solingen, and featuring early nickel fittings.
This is a solid early-period example (pre-RZM, circa 1933–1936), showing honest age and untouched patina throughout.
The blade retains the original “Alles für Deutschland” motto, which remains visible despite areas of oxidation and wear. The reverse of the blade is clearly maker marked Wilh. Halbach, Solingen, confirming authenticity.
The dagger has not been cleaned or restored, preserving its original character.
CONDITION
Blade: Shows noticeable surface oxidation, spotting, and wear from age. Motto remains visible. No signs of aggressive cleaning or grinding.
Grip: Original wood grip in good condition with normal handling wear. The SA roundel is intact, and the eagle remains properly set.
Fittings: Early nickel crossguards and pommel with a natural aged patina. No major damage observed.
Scabbard: Original anodized scabbard showing wear, finish loss, and age-related patina. All fittings remain present.
