Up for sale is an original WWII German Silver Wound Badge (Verwundetenabzeichen in Silber).
This example is a solid wartime piece clearly maker marked “30”, attributed to Hauptmünzamt Wien (Vienna Mint).
The badge is constructed of steel and retains a worn silvered finish with honest age. The helmet, crossed swords, and wreath details remain well defined.
Please note: the reverse is missing the pin and catch assembly, as shown in the photos. No other alterations are noted.
