Up for sale is an original WWI German Hindenburg Cross with Swords (Ehrenkreuz für Frontkämpfer), issued to combat veterans of the First World War. This example features the crossed swords device, indicating front-line service. The obverse displays the dates 1914–1918 within a laurel wreath, while the reverse is maker marked.

 

Condition & Details:

Great overall condition with nice original bronze finish and natural age patina. Strong detail remains throughout the cross and swords. Reverse shows a clear maker mark “R.V.26 PFORZHEIM,” adding to its collectibility. Suspension ring is intact. No ribbon included. Era: World War I (issued in the 1930s). Type: Hindenburg Cross with Swords (Combatant). Material: Bronze.
