Up for sale is an original WWII German Civil Service Faithful Service Cross for 40 Years of Service, the highest class of the Treudienst awards.
This cross was awarded to long-serving government and civil employees for four decades of loyal service, making it a significantly scarcer and more desirable example compared to the lower 25-year award. The piece features a gilt cross with oakleaf wreath, centered with a black enamel swastika on the obverse, and the reverse inscription “Für treue Dienste” (For faithful service). This example retains its original blue ribbon, correct for the 40-year class.
