Up for sale is an original WWII German War Merit Cross 2nd Class with Swords (Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2. Klasse mit Schwertern), complete with its original issue packet. This award was issued for meritorious service in support of the war effort under combat-related conditions. The medal features crossed swords through the cross, with the date “1939” on the reverse and a central swastika on the obverse.

Condition & Details:
Medal is in very nice overall condition with strong detail and original finish. Ribbon is present but shows some wear/fraying consistent with age. The original packet is included, which is a huge plus for collectors. It shows age wear and has blue tape applied along the bottom edge (as shown), but remains solid and fully displayable. A great complete set that displays extremely well.
